I only get paid if positive, measurable change occurs*
Yes! you read it right
How does it work?
Step 1: The Coach & Coachee get together for an informal conversation to understand each other better. We discuss and agree on the Growth Areas. We also agree on the engagement duration (Number of sessions, frequency, logistics etc.) and the fee.
Step 2: Post step 1, the Coachee identifies a few (4-5) Stakeholders with whom he/she is closely associated and who will be impacted by the change in the Coachee's behaviour.
Who determines the success?
Neither the Coachee (person being coached) nor the Coach determine improvement.
The degree of improvement in Coachee's behaviour is determined by the key stakeholders who are associated with the Coachee.
How is success determined?
Step 3: The Coachee engages with the Stakeholders at the start of the engagement and seeks feed-forward suggestions on Growth Areas. Step 4: With the help of the Coach, the Coachee works on these and other suggestions while keeping the Stakeholders informed about the same.
Step 5: Stakeholders are invited to respond to mini-surveys during the course of the engagement. Through these mini-surveys, the Stakeholders provide their feedback on the Coachee's improvement in the Growth Areas, as perceived by them.
Coaching fee
Each mini-survey and the final survey will be the payment milestones.
At each milestone, if the Stakeholder feedback is positive, I get paid pro-rata for the sessions completed. If the mini-survey suggests that there is no change as perceived by the Stakeholders, I don't get paid at the milestone. I only get paid for these sessions if the Stakeholder feedback is positive at the next milestone.
At the end of the engagement, there will be a final survey to understand the perception of the Stakeholders. If this is positive, I get paid for the final milestone. If not, I don't get paid at all.
